The 2009 Santa Runs and Santa's Little Helpers Runs dates will be announced soon...The Great Leicestershire Santa Run - Approx 1.5km
To be held at Victoria Park, Leicester on Sunday 6th December 2009
- Registration opens at 9.00am
- Warm ups start at 10.00am
- The runs start at 11.00am
Get into the festive spirit by joining our famous Santa & Santa's Little Helper Great Leicester Santa Run on Sunday 6th December 2009! It is a run, jog or walk through the park so is suitable for all fitness levels. Entry is just £10 for adults who will receive a santa suit to run in and keep, children (under 12) £5 who will receive an Elf Hat. All entrants receive a medal for taking part. This fun-filled event is great to join in with your colleagues, friends or family. Our Elf dancing warm-up's and festive atmosphere will leave you full of festive cheer and your entry fee and sponsorship will help us to take over 400 poorly children on a magical trip of a lifetime to Lapland to meet the real Father Christmas.

The Great Scottish Santa Run - On yer marks ... get set ... ho ho ho !! - 2 laps of West Princes Street Gardens
Sunday 13th December 2009 at 11am - West Princes Street Gardens, Edinburgh

- The runs start at 11.00am
Registration for the event is £10 for adults (includes a free Santa Suit and medal) and £5 for children under 12yrs (includes a free Elves Hat and medal), and we ask is that each competitor will try to raise sponsorship.
All proceeds from this year’s Great Scottish Santa Run in Edinburgh will be donated to When You Wish Upon A Star and Radio Forth’s Cash 4 Kids, enabling all the Santa Claus and Elves who take part, to create some of that special Christmas magic that will help grant the Wishes of some very sick children throughout Scotland.
We would like to say a huge heart-felt thank you to all our compassionate, dedicated and loyal supporters who have taken part in any previous Santa Runs in Edinburgh over the past 5yrs and in doing so have made it possible to transform so many tears into laughter and turn frowns upside down and would also like to welcome many new supporters to help us to ensure we continue creating smiles on the faces of the brave and courageous children throughout Scotland who benefit from your taking part.
