We would like to say a huge THANK YOU to all the Festive Santa’s and Little Helpers who walked, jogged and ran the 5km course at Victoria Park in Leicester on the 4th and Wollaton Park in Nottingham on the 11th December. We had a fantastic turnout for both events which reached over 250 participants at each event! We hope you all enjoyed the day! Leicester City’s Steve Walsh entertained the crowds with commentary at the Leicester event and the wonderful Pete James from Mansfield 103.2 FM in Nottingham...there was plenty of Christmas songs being sung!
It was a fantastic sight to see hundreds of Santa’s take part and would like to thank both Leicester City Council and Nottingham Council for their support in our event, the caterer ‘Number 1 Food Company’, Panda Hire, Steve Walsh, Pete James plus all those that volunteered their time on the both days – our events would not be possible without you!
Thank you to those participants that have already sent in your sponsorship money, it’s not too late to either start your fundraising or send it to us! Why not set up a Just Giving site for ease?!
We are on the process of uploading our pictures in the Gallery section so take a peek and hope you can spot yourselves!
On behalf of the whole team, we would like to wish you all a very Happy Christmas and Festive Wishes for the New Year! X
