Each December, When You Wish Upon A Star takes 400 sick children to Lapland to meet the real Father Christmas. Their magical adventure includes skidoos, snowmobiles, husky rides, quad bikes, sledging, skiing and of course sleigh rides with Rudolph in the enchanted Forest.Click here for information on how to take part in your nearest Santa Run...
With your help our special children can meet Santa...
It becomes very emotional when Santa meets the children and to see this great big giant of a man listening to a small child, intently telling him all their hopes and dreams and really believing in him, is very moving. These trips mean the children, just for one day, can forget about their pain and suffering in the excitement of meeting Santa Claus.
When You Wish Upon A Star relies purely on the generosity and support we receive through donations and it is only with your support that we are able to grant the Wishes that come into When You Wish Upon A Star on a daily basis.
